About Northern Territory Police Association
The Northern Territory Police Association (NTPA) is the representative body for members of the Northern Territory Police Force. Established in 1929 and incorporated in 1979, the NTPA is a not-for-profit incorporated association dedicated to protecting the industrial, professional and welfare interests of its members.
The Association provides industrial representation, legal support, advocacy, workplace health and safety initiatives, and member welfare services. It works closely with government, the Northern Territory Police Force, and key stakeholders to influence policing policy, improve workplace conditions, and ensure members have the resources and support needed to serve the Northern Territory community effectively. The NTPA is also the Northern Territory Branch of the Police Federation of Australia.
