29 September – is National Police Remembrance Day across Australia and the Pacific – when we commemorate our colleagues and mates who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
National Police Remembrance Day is a special and solemn day – to honour the bravery and dedication of Police Officers who have lost their lives serving their community. It is also a day to reflect on and pay tribute to the bravery of those who dedicate their lives to protecting, serving and keeping their communities safe.
The National Police Remembrance Day marches and services were held on Monday 29th September 2025.
This year we were joined by Young Legatee Madison Schremmer who attended the service in Darwin in memory of her father, Senior Constable First Class Justin Schremmer.
